From winemakers to winemakers
Prepare now for this year’s harvest!
EvoCask V3.11 will also be available
in most European countries
from June 2024!
Reduce your costs
Less barrel and labor costs, better use of space in the winery. EvoCask does not need to be replaced every three years. If you take care of it, twenty years from now it will still be the same as when you bought it.
Protect nature
With EvoCask maturation tank, you use oak staves. Staves, compared to barrels, offers winemakers a more favorable option, since much less trees has to be cut down to achieve the same result. You can significantly reduce the ecological footprint of your winery.
Don't use wood if you don't need it
A cabernet sauvignon wine tastes good with oak, but a riesling doesn’t always need it. However, a sufficient amount of oxygen is required for maturing. The EvoCask is a food-grade polymer cask with controlled oxygen permeation. You cannot achieve this with a stainless steel tank.
About
Evocask
EvoCask products were research together with Grünwald, one of Europe’s largest manufacturers. There was a huge demand for a quality wine tank, mainly cube tanks were present on the market, and we were invited to research and develop at the winemaking congresses, which led us to our EvoCask tank, version 2.2. Most of the European food industry raw material manufacturers participated in the development of the high-end oxygen permeable solution. The most important aspect, in addition to good use of space, was stackability, groupability, and fantastic shape. During the development, our engineers already received amazing recognition from the professional focus groups overseeing the development of version 1.6. We also carried out the design in several design programs, SolidWorks and SolidEdge, we performed modeling and statistical analyzes separately. (We would like to express our special thanks to the university students who participated in the oenology training course that joined the project for their dedicated work.)

About
Grünwald
15 years in the production of beverage containers. Grünwald manufactures containers for food and beverage manufacturers using several production processes. The EvoCask containers produced for wineries are made with rotational molding technology. This is a very special technology, since the production of large food industry products by injection molding is incredibly expensive or not possible at all.
All you need to know about rotomolding
Rotational molding is a plastic molding technique that uses heat and rotational force to form hollow objects. This versatile technology can be used to produce a wide variety of products, including vessels and containers of almost any size and shape, beverage, food and medical containers, as well as drinking water and many agricultural uses. During the process, the plastic powder is heated in a mold until it melts and takes the shape of the mold, and then it is cooled. The mold is rotated throughout the entire heating and cooling process to evenly distribute the wall thickness of the part
